Entre as muitas homenagens a Stephen Sondheim, falecido no dia 26 de novembro, contava 91 anos, eis uma das mais comoventes. Com apresentação de Lin-Manuel Miranda, uma multidão de profissionais da Broadway reuniu-se num local emblemático de Manhattan [Duffy Square], formando um coro que interpretou o tema Sunday, de um dos musicais de Sondheim: Sunday in the Park with George, inspirado no quadro Uma Tarde de Domingo na Ilha de Grande Jatte, de Georges Seurat.
