John Fogerty, Tom Fogerty, Stu Cook e Doug Clifford. Nas convulsões musicais e políticas de 1969, os Creedence Clearwater Revival distinguiram-se por uma participação emblemática, a começar pelo facto de terem lançado três álbuns de originais: Bayou Country, em Janeiro, Green River, em Agosto, Willy and the Poor Boys, em Novembro [NPR].
A canção Bad Moon Rising, do segundo desses álbuns, ficou como bandeira de um rock cuja nostalgia folk se projectava numa desencantada visão do presente — there's a bad moon on the rise.
Green River foi lançado a 3 de Agosto de 1969 — faz hoje 50 anos.
